The mixture of insignia and distinctive colors of several arms that are incorporated in the Armored Force symbolize integrity and esprit. An interlocked ornament, it was found in Nordic monuments and made up of three colors: red for artillery; blue for infantry; and yellow for cavalry. The insignia symbol represents the characteristics of Armored Divisions: the tank track for mobility and armor protection; the cannon for fire power; and the bolt of lightning for shock action.
